“The federal government is utterly failing to secure our borders. When Arizona stepped in to address out-of-control illegal immigration, liberal groups attacked Arizona and the Obama Administration sued the State. Rather than actually enforce our Nation’s immigration laws—which is the President’s explicit constitutional obligation—President Obama instead asked the Supreme Court to strike down Arizona’s law.”

“Today, the Supreme Court upheld the central provision of the Arizona law. Although the Court unfortunately struck down other provisions of the Arizona law, the Court held that there is no barrier in federal law to States’ requiring local law enforcement to check on the immigration status of those criminally detained. This makes clear that sanctuary cities exist only because of state and local decision-making; it highlights that we have sanctuary cities in Texas only because Lt. Gov. Dewhurst killed the bill that would have ended sanctuary cities. Had the Texas Legislature passed that bill—had Lt. Governor Dewhurst not run from the fight and prevented its passage—then today’s decision would have upheld that Texas law as well.”

“We need leaders who will get serious about enforcing the border: triple the border patrol; use walls, fences, and technology; end sanctuary cities; repeal Obama’s newly ordered amnesty; and end benefits like in-state tuition for illegal aliens.”

###

Strategically, President Obama’s time in the White House has been the personification of brilliance in defining the country’s political narrative. Of course he and his staff have had a considerable amount of help in the process – this type of fraud on the American people couldn’t be perpetrated without the willful aid of the mainstream media and other overzealous acolytes.

Irrespective of our views on his policy agenda, conservatives should concede the exemplary job the president has done in successfully selling his abysmal record to millions of people. It’s been a propagandist exercise that duly deserves recognition as top-notch Orwellian reasoning that has risen to the pinnacle of its application.

A recent Fox News poll shows Governor Romney edging out President Obama by a mere two percentage points, but in this preliminary stage, polls have been wildly inconsistent. And assuming the veracity of this particular poll, trailing by two percentage points means that tens of millions of Americans are ready to support the president’s reelection bid.

It’s still very early in this campaign. But given the abnormally-high unemployment rate, astronomical federal deficits, and general disastrous direction America is heading down, it’s shocking that this contest is even close.

Does this mean that Americans are stupid or naïve? No. It’s further evidence that most Americans have larger concerns other than the president’s agenda or approval rating. Political operatives and people involved in politics in multi-various capacities tend to exhibit professional narcissism that ignores the reality that most Americans are not concerned with daily current events, but rather engage in these issues – if they do at all – on and near elections.

And President Obama’s strategy is based on capitalizing on this key fact. But it goes further than this.

The logic guiding his roadmap for victory in this campaign is quite simple. It can be summarized in one word – divisiveness. President Obama has an uncanny ability to generate and sell fictional narratives to the media. These narratives typically involve indentifying concrete villains such as the Koch brothers, Rush Limbaugh, and others.

But this methodical strategy is more than demonizing single conservative actors. It also involves instigating confrontations between different groups like men versus women, African-Americans versus Caucasians, the one percent versus the 99 percent…

These aren’t well-defined plans for successful governance of our nation; they’re plans for winning the next election. Their blueprint is directly from the Saul Alinsky School that calculates every political judgment in terms of how best to further the progressive/socialist agenda.

Obama Provides Affirmative Action Healthcare by Kevin Jackson

In light of Obama’s recent comments regarding the role of the courts, it’s becoming pretty clear that Obama received an Affirmative Action legal degree from Harvard, and he doesn’t know how to count.

As they say in the country, “An ignorant feller is hell bent on proving his limitations.” Obama is proving this old witticism.

Obama said the court would take an “unprecedented, extraordinary step” if it overturns the [ObamaCare] law, because it was passed by “a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress.”

Obama must be reading his own Truth Team propaganda because as it turns out, ObamaCare barely passed the House, and no Republican voted for it. Lack of math skills notwithstanding, Obama’s opinion of “unprecedented, extraordinary step” has me perplexed as well.

Obama can’t believe that unelected judges, two of whom he appointed, don’t have the ability to overturn what he deems the will of the Congress (supposedly the will of the people). In fact there is precedence of courts overturning bad legislation, and overturning bad legislation is not that extraordinary. Simply put: It’s been done quite a few times before.

I won’t bore you with the history lessons, except to say that overturning legislations is exactly what the courts are for. What’s scary is that Liberals put a guy in charge of this country who doesn’t understand the separation of power. Obama may truly not be smarter than a fifth-grader. Or maybe he is?

For some time now Obama has been trampling on the Constitution. He’s alluded to the Constitution being antiquated, and in need of an overhaul. All the ObamaCare battle did was highlight the obvious, what Obama had been telling us all along. But is it really Obama’s fault? Why shouldn’t he ignore the parts of the Constitution that doesn’t fit his vision?

So far, other than the shellacking by the people in 2010, Obama has pretty much gotten everything he’s wanted, coddled by both Congress AND the Supreme Court.

Just recently Obama by Executive Order initiated the National Defense Preparedness Act that allows him to essentially take over all the industries in “preparedness” for war. Given that America will forever have to defend herself, this EO constitutes carte blanche, and gives Obama the ability to do whatever he wants, whenever he wants, to whomever he wants.

Leave it to Obama to exploit the authority granted to the President in the Defense Production Act of 1950 in order to confiscate and control virtually every means of human survival at the whim of either him or one of his Secretaries’ with no war or national disaster necessary. Where is the outrage from Republicans, why aren’t the courts challenging Obama on this?

There has been discussion on how Obama might want to cancel the elections of 2012, given an “unforeseen” crisis, and who’s to stop him?

Obama proves daily that he could care less about the rights of the little people…those to whom he is subject. It’s thanks to the little people that we are even debating ObamaCare. Because Obama and his minions figured the Patient Protection Affordable Care Act was a slam dunk. Instead, what Obama got was the ugly child that even his team now calls ObamaCare.

Nobody believed that America’s healthcare system was as Obama said. Where would you go for the best healthcare? Cuba? China? Russia? Most Americans recognized ObamaCare for what it is: A money grab. ObamaCare has the ancillary benefit of giving the government even more control over its citizens, literally controlling life, death, and everything in between.

Don’t believe me; just ask yourself why the government wants to regulate gold as part of ObamaCare. Can’t have people buying and hoarding a resource beyond government control, now can we?

Obama’s own people can’t decide if ObamaCare is a tax or if you just have to pay the penalty on this “commerce” for your health. Obama and team have moved mountains in an attempt to convince the public that government can be made efficient, and that healthcare should be the test of the New World Order, and they have spent our tax money to do so. ObamaCare has been compared to the post office, which ironically is losing money and considering eliminating Saturday mail delivery. ObamaCare motto: Just don’t get sick on the weekend!”

Obama then tried to compare ObamaCare to car insurance, something people don’t have to carry if (1) they are too young to drive, and (2) they don’t own a car. When that argument failed, Obama needed reminding that a car can kill or do damage, however an individual’s health generally speaking doesn’t affect another’s. And there are dozens more reasons why government shouldn’t be in the business of picking healthcare winners and losers, as certainly Obama’s green energy picks would validate.

Government has far too much control of our lives, but the prospect of government controlling our deaths is what has many fearful, as they should be.

Obama’s statement is dangerous in that he really doesn’t understand how wrong he is. Obama uses the logic that ObamaCare is Constitutional, in that same way that Ted Bundy believed he was dating college co-eds. Welcome to the Era of Affirmative Action Healthcare.

COMMENTARY
By Allan Erickson
3.29.12

It’s one thing when an American President spends much of his time abroad apologizing for the United States, indicating to foreign leaders we should be ashamed of our behavior and be willing to moderate our role in the world.

It is quite another thing to conspire with enemies of the United States.

Some might call it treason.

To be fair, we don’t know precisely what Mr. Obama meant when he recently told the Russian President he’d have more flexibility after the election with regard to missile defense negotiations. We do know Mr. Obama thought he was communicating secretly. That alone raised suspicions. Unaware of an open microphone nearby, Obama seemed to be secretly reassuring the Russians he’ll play ball if they give him time.

According to an LA Times report, former U.N. ambassador John Bolton called Obama’s comments a “fire bell in the night,” which indicate BHO will cut missile defense in Europe meant to protect against Iranian missiles (as he did without consultation earlier to the dismay of our allies) and he may also make other national security concessions.

As Steve Elliott at Grassfire reports, the whispered implications were fairly clear: here is the exchange between Obama and Dmitri Medvedev.

President Obama: On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved but it’s important for him to give me space.

President Medvedev: Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you…

President Obama: This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility.

President Medvedev: I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir.

It is next to impossible to interpret these remarks in any other way than to conclude BHO sees the upcoming election as an inconvenience, something to be overcome to that he can proceed as planned.

Further, his plan is something to be hidden from the voters.

He is seen here asking the Russian President and Putin, the former KGB officer and Premier and future President, for breathing room, translation: “Give me time to get re-elected and then I’ll have the freedom to submit to your demands.” The back side of that: ‘if you force the issue now, it threatens my re-election.’

What is it BHO wants to give the Russians that is so anathema to the American mind its revelation could derail his re-election chances?

It baffles the imagination to consider the gall and arrogance of this man. Obama actually believes he is above the Constitution, above Congress, and above the American people. He believes he is above the Secretary of State and the diplomatic corps. He believes he is above the military, and knows better than anyone what is or is not appropriate in the area of missile defense, a matter of central concern not only to the American people, but to the entire world.

In other words, Mr. Obama believes he is king of the world, a President so egocentric he sees himself standing on the bow of the Titanic, denying the existence of icebergs.

Charles Krauthammer has made the point that this president believes America should be knocked down a few notches, that American supremacy is a bad thing, that we should become a vassal state subservient to the United Nations. Obama’s policies and behaviors make it clear he takes a dim view of America standing as the lone super power. That posture and position denies other nations their rightful place at the table, according to Obama. He truly thinks peace and stability will come by spreading the power around, just as he believes spreading the wealth around somehow provides for generalized prosperity.

The only trouble with this view is it ignores the megalomaniacal ambitions of Putin and Medvedev and assorted tyrants worldwide. It’s almost as if BHO is seen stumbling around, a babe in the woods, catering to the wolves that will eventually devour him, and the rest of us.

And in this, the incompetence of the man has been overwhelmed by his blind adherence to the indoctrination he suffered from early childhood, a globalist worldview that puts American sovereignty at risk, and with it, the security of the world.

At a recent fundraising event for President Obama’s reelection campaign, the walking gaffe machine, also known as Vice President Joe Biden stated that the killing of Osama bin Laden in his hideout in Abbotabad, Pakistan was the most “audacious” plan in the past 500 years.

As much as the Vice President’s haphazard and lazy oratorical style is troublesome to most intellectually honest people, it does provide a great opportunity to revisit a seminal part of our history – the American Revolution.

We could compare the Osama mission to individual Revolutionary War engagements like the Battle of Trenton, where General Washington planned and executed a surprise attack that resulted in the important capturing of a Hessian garrison. This bold, daring, and one might say “audacious” plan involved crossing the partially frozen Delaware River with war-wearied troops in the middle of the night on Christmas to combat a brutal and well-trained group of German soldiers.

It was a high-risk, high-reward gamble, and it succeeded because of the extraordinary leadership of Washington who fought side-by-side with his men.

But the War as an aggregate is more impressive, especially when you consider what the colonies and many of the Founders as individuals risked in order to fight for liberty.

If the British had prevailed, the colonies would have been subjected to an even more tyrannical and despotic rule than the one they were fighting to overthrow. And leaders like George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Paine, and many others would have paid the ultimate sacrifice – an irreverent finality to their lives at the bottom of the gallows.

Obviously there are many other pivotal plans in American and world history that greatly surpass the level of audaciousness of the Osama killing. But it’s always helpful to allude to concrete imagery to prove the utter absurdity of bloviating politicians who make careless statements that are entirely divorced from the reality of history.

Perhaps Vice President Biden should crack open a history book right after he removes his foot from his mouth.

It is without doubt a sensitive and emotional time in the Tea Party movement. Tea partiers are dealing with the passing of “the prince of the people,” Andrew Breitbart, (God rest his soul), the IRS sticking their snouts in the business of Tea Party groups, and Tea Party Patriots experiencing a division in leadership.

Doesn’t make for a jovial outlook for conservatives.

But I sense a rousing among many tea partiers across this great land of ours, and they are NOT backing down, NOT coming to a standstill. They are moving forward. They are picking up — as best they can — where Andrew left off as citizen journalists, they are defying government intrusion, and they are not allowing infighting and division within a noted group to stagnate the movement. It’s not easy, but they — no, WE — are moving, one step at a time toward a unified front for liberty and freedom.

As we move forward, it’s imperative to rely on the strength of God to see us through and to equip us with wisdom and courage for the battle(s) ahead.

Let’s regain our footing and keep moving forward. It’s what started this movement and it’s what will help us persevere through even more storms.

“Be fearless and do not back down!” he would scream with rage in his eyes.

As a Christian standing for truth, this is my only option. I encourage you my fellow patriots to stay in faith, and I pray you make it your only option as well.

Today the conservative movement has lost an icon: Andrew Breitbart. As all of us know, Breitbart was a shaker and a mover when it came down to defending the cause of conservatism and exposing the lies of the liberal left particularly in mainstream media. To conservatives coast-to-coast, just the mention of his name, “Breitbart” commanded respect and elicited rousing applause whenever one had the opportunity to see him speak in person.

Andrew Breitbart changed his political views early on in his career after the Clarence Thomas hearings and became a Reagan conservative who was also sympathetic to libertarian issues.

Breibart gave himself fully to the conservative movement on so many levels, and he also joined the Tea Party community on many stages and rallies throughout America. Tea Party Review Magazine had the privilege of sharing the stage with Andrew Breitbart, and we also shared conversations, thoughts, and views during bus trips across America.

Just a few weeks ago at CPAC, the Tea Party Review publishing and editorial team talked with Andrew in the lobby of the Wardman Marriott. It was a thoughtful and happy conversation and one that we sadly say was our last.

Today, we honor a fearless leader, and our prayers are with his family, staff, and friends.

Let’s continue to honor Andrew Breitbart in a most meaningful way by continuing the fight for freedom and liberty.

R.I.P. Andrew.

When Obamacare was passed the Tea Party cried out t hat it was built on lies. Now the Tea Party is right and every Democrat in the House and Senate must admit their deception. A new tax on esthetic enhancing surgery was proposed but the surgeons had too many lobbyists twisting the arms of the Democratic leadership and therefore americans got a new tax. but that new tax fell on the suntan beds across the country. Small businesses that could not afford good lobbyists. In the 9 months since the new tax has hit the small businesses using tanning beds to make a living we are seeing the cards fall as the lies built into that 2800 page law come forward.

The taxes for the first 9 months on the tanning beds were suppose to raise about 150 million dollars. Guess what? The new tax has only raised about 50 million dollars—-only a third of that estimated. If all the new taxes built into Obamacare are as far off as this first, then every person in the house and senate that voted for this montrosity should be voted out of Congress. Such incompetence and deception should be given just what it deserves—a one way ticket out of Washington, D. C. Any conservative could have told the Pelosi machine that when you raise taxes on small businesses that you will push some businesses into just shuttering and laying off their employees. Some people who are using the tanning beds will refuse to pay the higher prices and therefore fewer people will get taxed and fewer dollars will be raised. These are not convoluted reasons why the government was wrong. We just had a complete collapse in common sense leadership from Pelosi, Reid, and Obama. The small revenue that was to be raised in comparison to the overall price tag seems like a drop in the bucket. But it means everything when those who call themselves leaders are proven to be wrong by the very ones who they called liars. Liars, liars, liars that’s who we now know wrote and passed this government boondoggle. Using this law to bash the Catholic church and force by government mandate for them to do what is against their moral teachings is horrible. All Catholics in America now understand what living under a dictator feels like. We are losing our freedoms to powerful lies passed by the Pelosi, Reid, and Obama troika. Every member of congress who voted for this boondoggle law and President Barak Obama must be voted out of office. Get busy now!
